MSNBC reporter Julia AINSLEY said "demoCRAT" entirely, multiple times.

This was after Hardball (no HAYES). Who is she?!1

Wingnuts are known for being grammar impaired.

******ON EDIT, added name to Subject line, thanks to DUer Polly Hennessey for ID-ing the NBC reporter. And to the young-uns who think it's idiomatic and not ideological - the history is that the hot thing for the GINGRICH Contract ON America crowd was the pseudo-scientific polling of Frank LUNTZ, who would "focus group test" propaganda effect of words/phrases for their positive/negative effect by connotation. He decreed that "demoCRAT" instead of "Democratic (Party)" tested out as negative and jarring and therefore how all wingnuts should use anywhere "Democratic" was being referred to. My own surmise is that the jarring effect largely came from the ungrammatical SOUND of it, and a noun being used instead of an adjective. However, for those youngest among us, the history/context has faded away and they object to it ONLY on the basis of its being a wingnut pejorative. On another level, it proves out how bad wingnuts are at grammar, how they scream "English Only" while not even mastering their own language.

Julia Ainsley, NBC National Security and Justice Reporter. Maybe, she knows Ainsley Eberhardt of Fox and Friends.

In our case, it's not common usage. It came from LUNTZ in the Gingrich days.
