With Mueller's investigation wrapped up in 2 years, let's take a minute to remember this:

Ken Starr was a fascist. He was an absolute fascist.

His investigation into Whitewater dragged on and on, and they relentlessly abused their power, as they sought to railroad people in order to make up wrongdoings by the Clintons that they knew had never happened.

It sickens me when people compare Trump's attacks on Mueller to the criticism of Ken Starr. The comparison in inaccurate and dangerous.

Ken Starr, Brett Kavanaugh and company were a bunch of bastards.

AND the other consequences to this country for decades:

a) hurting the whole Clinton family, one of the ways Hillary became tainted in the public eye;

b) more cheap, prurient attacks by holier-than-thou Republicans for three years;

c) the politics of personal destruction became the main framework of Republican politics for decades;

d) the reactive, duped faux christians voted in the actor, Reagan.

Public polling of that time confirms all that.

This country had only begun to think it could have civilized politics again when President Barack Obama was in office, all the while the toxic politics of spite were simmering for the current occupant.

Thanks for this post. People need to know the swampy "contract ON America" politics we'd been mired in.
