Don't be surprised if this "no more indictments" thing turns out to be bogus

Unless I missed it, all I've been hearing is that some DOJ official told some MSM news reporter that Mueller recommended no more indictments. Does anyone know who exactly this DOJ official is?

Why would someone from the DOJ tell a MSM news reporter anything at all about Mueller's report so soon if it's supposed to be so secret at this time? Maybe it's true that there are no more indictments, or maybe this is just one more instance of premature erroneous reporting by someone who received a leak from someone from the DOJ who has nefarious intentions to mislead the public.

If I were Mueller, I'd farm out as much of the evidence to the relevant DOJ districts as possible RockRaven Mar 2019 #4

It wouldn't even mean that. Some of the investigations have been farmed out to other US prosecutors pnwmom Mar 2019 #6

and get my report submitted in circumstances which optimize getting it fully into Congress's hands and as much released to the public as possible... before all those various US Attorneys embark on their indictments/prosecutions. Completing a proper investigation of the thing he was tasked with investigating should have been his goal, no matter how much schadenfreude we would all get from him behaving otherwise. Getting trigger-happy with indictments and prosecutions just because he had the ability to do so would have reduced his chances of completing his investigation, because we KNOW Trump will do whatever he can, regardless of the inappropriateness of it, to stop himself or his kids from paying for their crimes.

Now, it may be that nothing else comes of this, and Trump gets away with everything. But I kind of doubt it.

Remember, Trump can’t pardon himself for a crime for which he’s found guilty at the state level. We don’t know how much information Mueller passed on to New York and other states. It isn’t the end, it isn’t even the beginning of the end, but it may be the end of the beginning.

like the SDNY, EDVA, and in D.C. So there are those prosecutors plus the state Attorney Generals.

We have to vote him out in 2020. Anyone claiming otherwise is jeopardizing our entire way of life
