(32,079 posts)The fact that he ran off to his dump in Florida, along with a slew of his toadies, and has not been tweeting up a storm over it, tells me the appointment may not be going as planned. He even brought Sarah Honey Boo Boo with him, which he doesn't often do. Could all be a bunch of their usual games-playing, though.

(13,889 posts)he's been so quiet. One would think he'd be all over twitter by now. Maybe he's not sure what Barr is going to do.

(18,770 posts)I'd put money on the report detailing OoJ on his part (but due to the DoJ memo about not indicting a sitting POTUS, he won't be indicted... yet.). And, MSNBC is reporting that he brought his lawyers to Mara Loco for the weekend (apparently, that's not something he's normally done in the past).

(14,274 posts)No one has fully met his dictatorial leanings. In his eyes, everyone around him fails him in some way. Since he had never taken responsibility for any of the spectacular failures in his adult life, he has to assign blame to others when his poorly thought out schemes come crashing down.
Regardless of the outcome of the Mueller report, Trump will be apoplectic with his Attorney General for not fully squashing it. By the end of this week I expect him to tweet things about Barr being incompetent and of low intelligence.

(5,321 posts)Does anyone think it was Barr, and not Mueller, who made the decision to not indict anyone further? In which case, no, trump's plan is working fine.
