Bill Barr just left the justice department. Why is he not working overtime

reading the Mueller Report?

Update: CNN showing footage of Bill Barr entering his home. I wonder if the cameras will be outside his house all night. ....because if you don't laugh you have to cry.

I have been amused at the number of posts today wondering why the Mueller Report is not being sent to the Congress, The White House The Mickey Mouse Club, etc.

1). It likely will take more than a few minutes to look the thing over, come up with a summary and then make decisions on the particulars (I believe some National Security things were mentioned along the way)

2). It's Saturday and one would expect most of the staffers to be enjoying their weekend.

I have no way to know, but I do know it is Saturday and less stuff gets done on the weekends when the normal work week is M-F.

(I know, worked as a Federal employee on major matters, and later in private sector, and worked very hard in both those capacities on weekends AND during regular hours.)

556 pages? That would take some time. Kenneth Starr’s was just over 400. Probably blank until he stumbled on to Monica. Yet Republicans are complaining at cost. Mueller actually made money with his confiscations.

And I imagine SDNY will make much more.
