Many of Obamacare's provisions are wildly popular among all three groups, Democrats, Independents and Republicans. Killing it completely would result it an absolute Republican massacre in 2020 and destroy any chance Trump has of re-election.

Democrats won flipped 40 House seats and flipped hundreds of downballot seats across the country by campaigning on protecting your healthcare, Republicans want to take it away. Imagine what voters will do if Republicans actually do it.
