(23,738 posts)Gang of Four (just the heads of the intelligence committees) should be able to see it unredacted without question.
That's:
Adam Schiff (D-CA-28), Chair
Devin Nunes (R-CA-22), Ranking Member
Richard Burr (R-NC), Chair
Mark Warner (D-VA), Vice Chair

(42,700 posts)Yes, there are Democrats with the requisite security clearance to review intelligence data. But the real fight is going to be over the disclosure of grand jury testimony. Under what circumstances, if at all, grand jury testimony, which by law is required to be kept secret unless certain limited exceptions apply, can be disclosed is a matter as to which there is no consensus in the courts. It almost certainly will take a court case to sort out whether grand jury-related material in the Mueller report can be made public or even shared with members of Congress.

(28,136 posts)As I also informed him, rather than expend valuable time and resources trying to keep certain portions of this report from Congress, he should work with us to request a court order to release any and all grand jury information to the House Judiciary Committeeas has occurred in every similar investigation in the past. There is ample precedent for the Department of Justice sharing all of the information that the Attorney General proposes to redact to the appropriate congressional committees. Again, Congress must see the full report.

(42,700 posts)the grand jury materials will be made available. Sure, if Barr and Nadler work out something, it has a better chance of being approved. But if Barr resists, the outcome won't be as certain and won't be as timely.

(42,700 posts)As I understand it he was expressly allowed to disclose grand jury testimony to the Hill and the Hill ad authority to release it to the public.
