I never watch TV anymore,,,,

today I turn my TV on ; muted the sound : left it on and ever now an then just watch the silent video feed .......

I don't think what is on tv makes us a majority of idiots.

I usually read or watch tv to learn something and sometimes just for entertainment. Most of tv does not teach me anything and most does not entertain me.

Still I don't think because you watch tv you are an idiot.

I watch TV all the time. I have many shows that I enjoy watching on a regular basis. I especially enjoy good Sci-Fi. I also enjoy watching movies without sound. Keystone Cops, Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin Etc. They don't give me much insight to the world around me. I get that by everyday watching, listening, and thinking. It is rather amazing how much you can learn by being observant of the world around you.
