GOP platform: Cut health costs, lose weight

This is really their platform.....can DU'rs post some fat and smoker Republicans?
See how many we can get.

The draft Republican platform that was accidentally posted on the Republican National Committee website Friday – before POLITICO discovered it and the RNC took it down – suggests that people should do their part to hold down health care costs by avoiding unhealthy habits and lifestyles, which lead to expensive health care needs. Those “lifestyle” issues include smoking and substance abuse – and obesity.

Every time I see Christie I can't help but think of that vignette in a Monty Python movie where the insanely obese food critic is shown going into a restaurant and eventually explodes.

What the hell is Christie's breakfast? Bacon on doughnuts with a side of calf?

but I have to clarify one thing - it takes 3500 calories to equal a pound. Take in 3500 calories too much a week, you will gain a pound a week. Take in 3500 cals less than you need, you will lose a pound. Astoundingly, if you eat 1 extra slice of bread/day or 1 extra handful of pretzels or 1 extra bran muffin, 1 extra yogurt etc (roughly 100 cals extra) to gain 100 lbs it would only take you 10 years. I can guarantee you if Christie was eating bacon on doughnuts with a side of calf, he would weight far more than he does now.

Obese people don't have to eat copious amounts of food to be severely obese. A few extra small snacks/week will do it over the course of a decade or 2. So let's not go there with the Christie=pig crap. Go ahead and call him an asshole though. And how can someone be so dumb as to 'love' the Boss and not 'get' any of his songs. wtf. Talk about dense.

OK, sure, seeing that the most obese people and substance abusers are in red states I have no problem with that, I wish they would charge people by the pound and width on airplanes too but that is not going to happen either anytime soon.

The people that vote GOP are just like domestic abuse victims, the people they elect time and time again abuse the people that vote and support them and then lie to them time and time again that they are not the ones abusing them and the sheep go right back to supporting them.
