(51,567 posts)No lines at that border and everyone is cool and friendly. They didn't even ask me "And why were you traveling to Mexico" then at the Border Patrol check point, 30 miles in the US, they didn't even ask us to stop and ask our citizenship. That has never happened in the over 15 years I have been going there. It is almost as if they are more lax than ever. This was the first time I have been in Mexico since the fake prez wasn't elected.

Here in Texas, the southern towns and ports of entry are bustling with people going back and forth for goods and services. It's a community. It's part of peoples everyday lives and livelihood...and not just Mexican nationals either. Americans cross over for all kinds of things a lot of it for inexpensive medical care and prescriptions.
This would kill the economies in these towns.
