Trump.
It doesnt matter what he has done or will do, he will get away with it.
Whoever the Democratic nominee is, man, woman, straight, gay or anything, the Repubs are going to manufacture a claim against that person, guaranteed.
We as a party better figure this out before then or we are not going to get out of the gate.

(11,746 posts)We are the majority. We are the ones we are waiting for. If we vote a year from November we can rid ourselves of this scourge and drive away the authoritarians.
We did that in Illinois. Keep in mind the idiot garnered fewer votes than Romney got in 2012.

(4,607 posts)Trump is an accident, a reality tv clown who stumbled into office because he was in a change election facing an historically unpopular opponent who was being attacked by Russia and sabotaged by the director of the FBI. Like the Nazis, Trump has never once gotten a majority of support.
That doesn't mean he's not a serious threat now that he has the power of the presidency behind him. But this buffoon is LOCKED at 43%-44% approval in the polls. He's eminently beatable, and frankly he will be the underdog in 2020 unless we shoot ourselves in the foot somehow.

(52,201 posts)the media has no business making hay out of any democratic "scandal" that pales in comparison to a fraction of what donnie gets away with.
if they ask about someone being accused of making a woman uncomfortable, just say, "come on! republicans make women feel scared to death! donnie the creep walks into a girl's changing room! who does that? donnie the creep brags about sexual assault! who does that? donnie the creep pays women six figures to not talk about him cheating on his wife with them. who does that? you wanna talk about how some woman felt uncomfortable? you know what makes women uncomfortable? having a creep like that as the most powerful person in the country and the media letting him get away with it!"
