Protesters show at Paul Ryan event in Springfield

50 people in Springfield, MO is HUGE. Good for them. Nice to see the tide turning.

More than 50 people are protesting outside vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan's fundraising visit to the Ramada Oasis Convention Center on Glenstone Avenue, Springfield.

Jane Wolfe of Springfield had a sign supporting Planned Parenthood.

"It's nobody's business but the family, the woman and the doctor," she said.

Wolfe said the issues are numerous and her protest goes beyond just Ryan, who's in town to help raise funds and was not expected to make any public appearances.

Even though I'd be hard pressed to get my niece to understand the importance of keeping Planned Parenthood alive.
