Look at what the Reagan worshipers are doing now...

These idiots think it is appropriate to place a plaque honoring St. Ronnie at an historic site where Lincoln and Douglas debated!

Members of the Upper Northwest Illinois Republican Women spoke at Monday's city council meeting in hopes of convincing city officials to reconsider the removal of a memorial plaque honoring President Ronald Reagan at Debate Square in Freeport.

"We gave the plaque to honor Reagan on his 100th birthday," said Debbie Leininer, president of the UNIRW. We thought it was a good match for Debate Square because he was the 'great communicator' just like Lincoln was. We thought he was a fit there."

The Lincoln-Douglas Society has been vocal in opposition to the plaque being located in Debate Square.

"I feel bad that I didn't realize the connection of the city with the Lincoln-Douglas Society," said Leininger "I hope we have a good outcome with this. We are less than 40 miles from his (Reagan's) hometown. It was not meant to cause controversy, just to honor a great President."

I would urge everyone at DU to go to the homepage of the Freeport Journal Standard today. Tellingly, the other major story on the front page of that paper today is the story about Sensata, owned by Bain Capital. That is the company that has made so much news, because the jobs are being shipped to China, and the employees are being forced to train their replacements. They are saying that because Romney refuses to come to Freeport to speak with them, they are going to Tampa.

Plaques to St. Ronnie indeed. He is the one who started this country on the road to ruin.

to the AIDS victims that bastard Raygun killed, by his statement that AIDS is a "gay cancer."
He refused to give aid for a cure early on, and this is what lead to the death of my younger brother back in '86.
Raygun is on my fecal register permanently for that crap, and I would shit on his grave.

Lincoln freed the slaves.

Reagan freed the rich from progressive taxation.

Those two are practically the same thing.

And while Lincoln lost the Lincoln-Douglass debates, Reagan has clearly won the tax cut debate.

"President Obama has cut taxes for middle-class families and small businesses. One of the first things he did in office was cut taxes for 95 percent of working families. He has also signed 18 tax cuts for small businesses and extended the payroll tax cut for all American workers and their families, putting an extra $1,000 in the typical middle-class family’s pocket."

See, even Obama agrees with Reagan. Tax cuts are good! That debate is apparently over and Reagan won.

While Nancy was a grifter and a major pain during their regime, I am totally grateful that she put the kabosh on the idolators' efforts to replace FDR on the dime. Other pluses for her are Ron Jr and the cold excising of Michael.

Makes me sick when Democrats especially when our President speaks well of him. He was once a Democrat supporting FDR and Truman. Then he married money, and sold out. Also he was a yellow dog union leader when he was President of the screen actors Guild. Encouraging members to cross picket lines, because he said there communist involved. Even his own son doesn't share his political views. His biological one not the adopted one.
