Romney: Neil Armstrong ‘Takes His Place In The Hall Of Heroes’

Romney: Neil Armstrong ‘Takes His Place In The Hall Of Heroes’

Presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney on Saturday issued a statement regarding the death of American astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon.

Neil Armstrong today takes his place in the hall of heroes. With courage unmeasured and unbounded love for his country, he walked where man had never walked before. The moon will miss its first son of earth.

I met and spoke with Neil Armstrong just a few weeks ago--his passion for space, science and discovery, and his devotion to America will inspire me through my lifetime.

dare speak of armstrong, is sickening (and isn't part of the puke platform to get rid of NASA?)

oh, by the way, mittwit, he "passed into the hall of heroes" on 20 July 1969--if you even know what that date means.

That tortured notion could only have been written my Mitt himself. While everyone else sees things from our earthly perspective, trust Mitt to anthropomorphize the moon and feel ITS pain.

Oh, and somebody needs to remind the teabaggers and Rmoneyites and Paulites that the space program was and is a project of BIG GOVERNMENT. We The People demanded it, and paid for it gladly with our taxes.
