Taliban/Santorum

Even if we grant that Santorum will not be the candidate, I'm surprised that we haven't seen an analysis of how his religious views are comparable to those of extremist Islam, or, for that matter, probably any extremist version of any religion. It would be interesting to see a side-by-side analysis of Santorum's views with those of the Taliban. What prompted this was the article today on motherjones.com about Santorum's ridiculously extreme views on sex, contraception, etc.
