I can no longer watch Hillary Clinton on television.

Its like pouring salt into our wounds. We were robbed of an intelligent, dignified, qualified president by foreign powers and a corrupt political party.

Instead we have a constitutional crisis and corrupt officials as far as the eye can see.

Next year we can vote them out of office if enough of us vote.

There are more of us than them.

It will hurt us forever and it should. We need to remember this since that is one reason why we are in this situation to begin with. Too many Americans never learn from history and that makes us repeat it.

I felt actual pain, and a helpless breathlessness of the kind you get when you've been punched in the stomach, and the resulting momentary paralysis of the diaphragm makes it difficult to draw a lungful of air.

It must be similar to the way abolitionists and other progressives felt when Reconstruction ended, and Southern blacks were left at the mercy of vengeful segregationists and former slave-owners.

it was another hundred years before they could even begin fixing the problem. How long is it going to take us to fix this?

...endless "investigations". Total obstruction. Supreme Court appointees blocked for her whole term. (Oh, yes we would have.) An endless crisis. Of course, I'm not suggesting for a second today's world is preferable. At least, our alliances would be strong and America would still stand for something in the world. And she wouldn't have appointed toadies to destroy our federal agencies. But we would be in a constant, not-so-low level political crisis.

I believe if only more people had listened to her and heard what she wanted to do for America, instead of watching body language and performance and Trump crowding her on the stage and all that nonsense, she’d be president now.

It’s too late for her to be president, but not too late for us to pay the president we elected the respect of listening to what she says. When we do turn her on.

Of course her words are not nearly so important now, but she still has a lot of life to live and is going to be doing significant things in future.

That, and the tyranny-of-the-minority imposed by the Senate, are the real Constitutional crisis we continue to face.
