Chairman Nadler just received a letter from Barr refusing to comply with our subpoena for the unredacted Mueller report & underlying materials. That is unacceptable. I will urge the Chairman to proceed w/contempt citation. This is extremely dangerous behavior from Trump and Barr.

FUCKING PERJURY - BOLDFACE!
I'm beyond angry, I'm beyond gobsmacked
What really gets me is HOW LONG before we get some indictments, contempt, jail time...
WTH - It dragged on YEARS with Reagan/Iran-Contra (from what I recall, I was a kid), and any other republican inquiry...but Bill Clinton's impeachment went down in record time.
But this is not a game, this isn't just selling arms, or getting a blowjob...it's flat out destruction of our Constitution and Rule of Law.
The JUSTICE Dept needs to be smoked out... I'm just so damn sick and worried we won't get out of this alive.

(51,550 posts)The conditions Barr imposed are absolutely ridiculous. The Congresional committee members can not take notes while reading whatever is in the SCIF and they can't talk to anyone about it afterwards. Not their staff, not each other, nobody. That is why Chairman Nadler said Barr's conditions make it absolutely worthless to try to read the report in a SCIF, because then they can't do anything with that information. If they can't use the information to perform their oversight tasks, what's the point?
