Times magazine's 100 most influential people of 2019

I was sitting in a doctor's office and this was one of the magazines on the table. I picked it up just to have something to read while I waited. Lots of great people in there. Then I got to the "Leaders" section and say Trump, McConnell and Kavanaugh. WTF??? Now I need to write a nasty gram to Time magazine asking them how they define influential.

Oh they had Pelosi and Michelle Obama and others but these people actually contribute something to our country.

"Influential" and "Beneficial", not necessarily the same. nt JustABozoOnThisBus May 2019 #4
We may know that and understand it but the average American will think it's an endorsement. llmart May 2019 #6

You should read some of the bios. They are glowing accounts of their accomplishments, albeit by some other Republican politician. For example, as Bigman Pigman said above, Rosenstein wrote the one for Barr, John Boehner wrote the one for McConnell and Christie Christi wrote the one for the Dump. Oh, and I think it was McConnell who wrote the one for Boofy Kavanaugh.
