Harry Litman (MSNBC) says Barr and Mueller have never traveled in the same social circles.

Barr was always a partisan Republican and Mueller was "fastidiously apolitical."

And now, he says, they are antagonists.

This makes sense. I never believed that just because the wives were in some prayer group and somebody went to someone's child's wedding that that made them good buddies -- just long-time professional acquaintances whose wives may have had some kind of friendship.

If Barr and Mueller were really friends, Mueller wouldn't have had to write that letter and Barr wouldn't have called it "snitty."

2. i didn't think they were friends either. it's common for people who attend the same church to

be involved in certain things together like going to weddings of others who attend that same church.

but that doesn't mean they are friends . often they just invite everyone that attends that same church/bible group etc.

there was never anything reported which showed they were friends other than the church crap .

4. What is important is if Mueller gets to rebut Barr

in a public hearing before the House. If Trump is successful in keeping Mueller from testifying Republicans are going to claim the Mueller investigation is over, let's move on to investigating the crooked FBI and Democrats who carried on a witch hunt against Trump. Had not Mueller written those 2 letters to Barr, Democrats were toast. If Mueller does not get to testify Democrats are still toast because they won't hold impeachment hearings.

5. I think that term Barr used, "snitty" is to be the adjective that takes Barr down.

Because it shows, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Barr indeed knew what Mueller thought about his four page letter.
