Ethanol is often the reason their gas is so cheap.

My little mower had the worst stalling problem, vanished when I started using ethanol free gas.

Big mower runs on diesel thankfully

I knew Volkswagen and Nissan would show up in there. You see a ton of late model ones listed on places like Carvana.

It seems they're not always happy to see me at the hazardous waste drop off site. I've brought them some really weird clean-up-the-neighborhood shit in my wanderings.

We had a flex fuel car we bought used, we didn't buy it for that, it just happened to be one, but we lived in a place where fuels with a significant ethanol content are not commonly available. Full 10% ethanol tends to raise gasoline vapor pressures beyond California air pollution standards, even with a 1 psi compromise allowance for it.

It was just as well our car didn't use much ethanol. Fuels made from grains are stupid, even more so than fuels made from petroleum, and maybe a tie with fuels made from tar sands or coal.

MTBE was interesting because it was made from natural gas, and not especially worse than the other carcinogenic shit found in ordinary gasoline that we all tend to ignore.

Of course the Trump administration is advocating 15% Ethanol gasoline which would potentially double bullshit fuel ethanol sales.

With Ethanol free gas due to motorcycles in our area that use it.
I use it in my car- It was 3.30 a gallon last time I filled the tank.
I was glad to see this post !
