What will happen if the crook wins in 2020?

What will citizens do? What will Dems do? What will you do?

*Let's also say that moving out of the country is not an option.

1. The country dies for good and for all.

Some citizens will celebrate, some will weep, some will protest.

What can Dems do? They can’t do anything to hold him to account now. If he “wins” he probably takes back the House and keeps the Senate. Country over.

What will I do? I really don’t know.

Been that way since Clinton left office what seems so long ago.

Haven't had a full time job since Chimpy was in office.

Never had investments or a retirement package, so can't speak to that.

Social Security is all I've got. The repubs will consider his reelection a mandate for abolishing all handouts.

unless we retake the Senate. We MUST get the Senate or we are screwed if he wins.

Here's the thing: if he wins in 2020, we will probably lose the house. Impeachment will be dead. Gloating will commence.

So, what will WE do? Muddle through.

9. What I've been doing since 2016. Focusing on issues in my community, connecting with

activists outside my comfort zone, thinking about radical solutions to long-term problems and talking with people who have direct experience with those problems, reading up on the history of racial oppression in the United States, thinking a lot about what I'm willing to do and what my skills and resources are, donating cash money directly to people and small organizations, etc.

I spent a lot of the Bush years in anger and despair but didn't harness it at all except into party politics, and I burned out and stagnated at the same time. It's all about finding the best outlet for your work.
