What's More Important: Fighting for Medicare for All, or Protecting and Improving Obamacare?

Recently CNN published an article saying more Democrats are in favor of protecting and improving the Affordable Care Act than are in favor of Medicare for All.

The implication is that many Dem. 2020 candidates are out of step with most Democratic primary voters.

Also, there was a recent poll from Kaiser saying Obamacare is "wildly popular" among Democrats.

So I'm taking a poll:

AS it stands now, Medicare requires a supplemental Health Insurance plan that covers the other 20% of what Medicare does not. So Health Insurers will have to comply with that rule. It would have to be made clear that they are under law to provide that coverage at a fair cost so that no one falls through the cracks.

Medicare for all would be OK for older citizens...say over 55, but young people do much better with the ACA.
I know because my daughter had ACA for a while and so did my husband. I had Medicare ( I'm 4 years older) so I was able to compare prices and coverage. My daughter had 100% coverage, no deductible and paid $27.00 per month. Husband with ACA paid 350.00 per month and had a $6000 deductible. Medicare with a supplement was 260.00 plus no deductible.

Of course there is no bill yet for MFA, and my opinion could change if Medicare rules etc were changed.

"Improving Obamacare" roughly speaking means getting back the Public Option, which quite honestly will quickly start to look like MFA.
