As a narcissist, Trumps worst nightmare is being exposed as unworthy of admiration.
His entire adult life has been an act to convince people he is someone his father would have loved.
This story is his worst outing: hes a lifelong loser who failed at daddys business.

(11,088 posts)Trump couldn't have lost that much money on purpose. These "loses" were tax fraud.
Remember Trump's sister had to retire from the federal bench to stop an ethics inquiry into Trump family tax fraud.

(81,116 posts)will go to any lengths, ANY lengths, to keep that image propped up. That takes galaxies of money. So he went where there was easy access to all that money to keep his image propped up. He only looked as far as the money being offered to him to prop him up. The immediate fix-it.
He never bothered to look carefully at the hands that were holding out that money to him (that werent just offering that help to be nice). Those hands also held an iron leash with a padlock at the throat.
Consider the mentality in operation here. He never bothered to look a little farther down the road. Mainly because he presumed hed never have to. Its always been about quick! Just fix it NOW! We can see that in his behavior. Always impulsive, acting in the moment, by the moment, and for the moment. Assuming that he can always fix the next problem with another quick-n-dirty deal wrapped in a bunch of cheap flashy phony (read: distracting) tinsel and a whole lotta lies.
Fake deals.
Fake reality.
Fake pResident.

None of us is surprised by this. Weve always known, long before he was elected. Long before he ran. Hes a narcissistic, entitled rich boy who couldnt find his butt with both hands but discovered early that when you have money some people will happily let you bully others on their behalf. Hes made a life of bullying and conning and very little else. Now we just have to bring him down and show him for what hes always been.
Im worried about how afraid the rule followers are to oppose him though. I think hes truly in danger of going barking mad and giving orders that should not under any circumstances be obeyed.
