My text message delivered, but not showing on my phone.

this morning I sent a text to a friend “happy birthday“ also sent several birthday emoji‘s with it. I have an iPhone and friend has an android.

Friend responded, thank you, and we exchanged a few text back-and-forth.

Weird thing is, all these texts Are showing on my phone except the happy birthday one. It’s as if it went into the twilight zone or something.

Anyone ever experienced this?

... the subsequent ones were one-on-one private texts (because your friend responded directly to you, rather than to the group.)
