Another way the two parties get different treatment...

I didn't watch the Comey interview yet. I might, but I don't really know if I want to.

The difference between how Dems and Repubs get treated? Simple, really.

The Mueller Report attempted to do to Trump exactly what Comey did to Hillary. He declared there was 'not enough evidence' to bring charges, but detailed the things done wrong. In Comey's instance, it was unprecedented to do that. DoJ generally just files a 'did not bring charges' statement and lets it stand alone...no unnecessary adornment. But that's what he did. It cost Hillary a lot. But then, when she bounced back we got the whole Weiner laptop bullshit.

Now, Mueller issues his report that basically does the same thing to Trump, but he and Barr are trying to bury it. Congress is fighting back, but it is touch and go there. Meanwhile the M$M is loving the conflict and what it does for ratings. The "didn't bring charges, but..." nature of the report is not getting a lot of play. The RW echo chamber is continuing to feed their sheeple the diet of propaganda that TrumpCo is spewing.

:sigh:

Comey from recommending charging a private citizen. So if he chose not to do so, it was obviously because the evidence suggested there was no crime. There was a dept policy NOT to comment when that decision was made, but Comey broke this policy in July.

In contrast, the DOJ’s policy was that Presidents can’t be indicted even with overwhelming evidence, because the impeachment process existed to handle such things. Mueller apparently felt bound by this policy.
