We’ve cranked out some good people too: Eric Swallwell, Kamala Harris, star-on-the-rise Gavin Newsom, the brilliant, never-say-die Jerry Brown, etc.

Sorry for that Reagan dude, however. Oh, and the criminal Nixon, too. California is an altogether different entity now. Only the sparsely populated interior of the state remains conservative, and their numbers will never be enough to drive any statewide or national election.
