Marco Rubio when a Democrat was President:

“No one can be above the law, not even the attorney general,” Rubio declares in the 2012 clip.” [...] “I think an attorney general held in contempt of Congress is someone who should resign.”

[...] “I think it is outrageous that any attorney general, Republican or Democrat, refused to comply with Congress’ constitutional right to hold them accountable and the Justice Department accountable. I would say that if this was a Republican.”

Now, you could be forgiven if you were to misunderstand this. Marco Rubio seemed to say said that an AG "held in contempt of Congress" for "refusing to comply with Congress' constitutional right to hold them accountable" should resign.

But that's not what he meant. What he actually meant was that an AG should resign if he does EXACTLY and PRECISELY what Holder was accused of doing.
