Trump currently has 31 million followers and, sure enough, if you browse through them you will find an unusual number of tweet-less, picture-less accounts that joined the service in May 2017. If you're still curious, you can enter Trump's handle, @realDonaldTrump, into Twitter Audit, a service that assesses the authenticity of one's followers, and find that only 51 percent of Trump's are real.

We are the same age and color of most his fans. It makes sense that half are fakes. People our age are of the television, though we use the internet all time.

I did a Twitter audit on Trump and Obama a few minutes ago:

@realDonaldTrump has 52+ million real followers and 15+ millions fake followers. Score: 87%

@BarackObama has 90+ million real followers and 15+ millions fake followers. Score: 85%

Obama has way, way more real followers than Trump.

If there is a statistically significant difference in the scores/proportion of real followers then Trump has more than Obama.
