Oops. Even Without Trump, Canada Somehow Manages To Add 35 Times More Jobs Than USA?

Trump TV (aka 'Fox News') is exploding with glee over last month's jobs creation report, citing 263,000 jobs added to the economy. The highest in decades.

One small problem, though. Even without the Art of The Deal master, Canada somehow managed to add thirty five times as many jobs per capita. How can this BE!?!?

United States population: 327,000,000
Jobs added last month: 263,000
Or, one job per 12,400 people.

Canada population: 37,000,000
Jobs added last month: 106,500
Or, one job per 350.

That's right. The rate of job creation in Canada last month was approximately 35 times higher than in the United States, despite having a bunch of 'socialist libtards' running the place.

Oops! Please don't spread the word about this around, or it might actually penetrate the right-wing news bubble! And you know what that means! Sending Rubberface Larry Kudlow, and attack-rat Peter Navarro running to the Fox Business channel to clean up the mess. Kudlow, no doubt, will have to stop at every Starbucks on the way to get hyped.

Conclusions:
The job market is booming IN SPITE of Trump, not because of him. In fact, given the Canadian comparison, it should be growing a lot faster than it is.

6. Republicans believe the economy is doing far better now with Trump. Democratic lawmakers need to be

better at communicating the truth and defeating the barrage of lies.

7. Canada lost 7000 jobs in March.

When was the last time the U.S. lost jobs? (Sept. 2010) Also their unemployment rate is 5.7% compared to the U.S. at 3.6%. Happy to see Canada add jobs but its economy has always been a weak 2nd to the U.S. historically.

9. The difference in the unemployment rate

may not be as great as the percentages quoted make it seem. My understanding is that Canada calculates the unemployment rate in a slightly different way from the US so the percentages are not strictly comparable. As for the Canadian economy being "a weak 2nd to the U.S. historically ", perhaps that might be due to having 1/10 of the population.

10. Bingo.

Canada has been fostering foreign trade ties for a long time, while we are now actively killing them.

I believe China has bought 3 or 4 CANDU nuclear reactors from Canada. That is big ticket stuff.
