They air soccer from time to time.

Whoever thought this one up is stupid.
Who watches MSNBC for sports programming?

They play all games at the same time. NBC shows all games by preempting their program schedule.

They did this last year also. English football has a significant following here in the US.

I too was surprised - it's a great season

As if winning the EPL isn't enough, only top four make it to the UEFA tournament next season. We're watching the Tottenham game on another network

41. Soccer is news, international and global news, unifying fans all over the globe and transcending

Politics. It is a global economic force, for the good and the bad. It influences politics. If you get outside America, from Central to Latin America, to Europe, to Africa, you will begin to understand it as a power and influence, beyond what we usually accord any sport, but rather accept as a passion and an art. NBC is committed to showing these games on several channels.
See “ The Beautiful Game” video series for insight into the world wide significance of soccer.
I had to, as the daughter of a line of coaches in American sports, with a soccer maniac fiancé from Ireland, do my research.

and it sucks I'm here at work missing all the games. Maybe it's good that they aren't showing news programs right now. Don't we all need a break from the anxiety laden nightmare of this fake presidency? Watch the games. You might enjoy them and maybe it'll take your mind off the horror show.

45. I don't get how people watch it all day.

Every show on MSNBC follows a similar format if you watch all day, no matter whose show it is. Rachael is the only one who comes close to breaking it.

As an example.....

The first segment will be what Trump/Barr/Mueller/Congress is doing.

Second segment is usually Jared/Ivanka shenanigans.

Third is some bill Cocaine Mitch is trying to ram down America's throat.

Fourth is Dem primary.

Repeat at 2.....repeat at 3.....4, 5, 6....
