Two factors affecting Trump's "great" economy

First, it is the huge number of Baby-boomers that are retiring. Almost 10,000 per week were retiring at the end of last year. Who is going to replace these workers?

Also, there is much discussion about the wages going up the most in a long time. One factor that might affect this is the numerous states that have increased their minimum wage to $15 per hour. About 40% of American workers were making less than $15 per hour.

equation . Obama years laid the foundation to what we are seeing in continued expansion. The Auto Bailout alone saved and regenerated several sectors of our economy.

Now we are seeing a slow down coming due to Republican Policies that are crippling this same industry. As long as Corporate America can use the Tax Code as a Profit Maker as well as destroy their own Industries, nothing changes .

So they work 2 jobs to stay afloat. They compete with young kids for jobs, I went to the movies on a Monday recently and the majority of people working their were white haired seniors!

I am fortunate because I have retirement savings And own property but I plan to still work until i am at least 70. We don’t know what this country will be like if the maggot gets 4 more years and repukes get back control of both houses. Bye bye social security and Medicare.
