George Conway calls Trump a 'malignant narcissist' and says he committed 'the ultimate high crime'YAHOO NEWS Kadia Tubman
"Think of it," Conway, an outspoken critic of President Trump, started in a lengthy Twitter thread. The Russia investigation was a legitimate investigation, with a legitimate basis, into how a hostile foreign power tried to interfere with and undermine our democracy. It was in the best interests of the nation in the interests of all Americans, no matter who they voted for that this investigation be allowed to proceed to its rightful conclusion, without improper attempts to obstruct it, if only so that we could all know what really happened and take steps to see that it never happens again.
Conway blamed Trumps take on the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election on his being a malignant narcissist a person with both narcissistic and antisocial personality disorders, a diagnosis he has repeatedly applied to his wife's boss.
Instead of complying with your oath of office, and instead of taking stock of what was in the best interests of the nation whose Constitution and laws you swore to uphold, you viewed the matter purely in terms of your own ego, said Conway. You viewed the investigation as casting doubt on what you perceive as your great election victory (in which your opponent garnered nearly three million more votes than you did), and so you took multiple steps to obstruct, and repeatedly lied about, the investigation from the outset.

(12,577 posts)The truth is, if I were married to her and had to wake up to her face each morning, I'd chew my wrist off to get out of the handcuffs she put on me during last night's sexual role playing.

(40,199 posts)Or does George Conway truly feel the way he expresses himself on twitter? If that is so, one can not help but wonder how he and his wife have any kind of relationship at all.
I truly believe that what really bonds two people in a marriage are shared values and respect for the other person's way of being in the world. How does he reconcile his wife going on Fox all the time and spewing hate and lies on behalf of a man that he claims to loathe?
This is beyond weird.

(10,136 posts)George is obviously sincere in his revulsion for Trump. Mr. Conway sides with the Never Trumpers, a more respectable faction within the GOP who hate Trump for what he's doing to their party, though still arch conservatives on everything else. These people are not your friends.
Kellyanne was equally repulsed by Trump back when she was supporting Ted Cruz during the 2016 primaries. Then she took the job working for Trump and the rest is history. It's her job to lie and shill for whichever candidate she works for, so now she's out there lying for Trump. She's good at it, in a dogged, workmanlike sort of way.
In private, George and Kellyanne both probably despise Trump. I'd love to be a fly on the wall in their kitchen when they're talking about Donald's latest fuck up. Kellyanne's probably keeping detailed notes for her upcoming Trump tell-all, when the wheels finally come completely off the Trump wagon. That book will sell.
Everyone who's worked for Trump clearly hates the man. How could you not? Trump's wife obviously hates him and his kids are probably on the fence about the old man; the look in young Barron's eyes sort of says it all. It's amazing what some folks will do for a buck, isn't it?

(9,426 posts)malignant carbunkle on the ass of the US of A. He is repulsive, a man-child, not very bright, con artist. He is also the face of the traitorous gop. They will eventually regret that they ever propped him up the way they are doing. He destroys everyone he comes into contact with, except of course Ivanka his daughter/wife. Hopefully he will be the cause of many, many gop members losing their positions, replaced by SANE democratic politicians.

(343 posts)I would bet it is not an act. George Conway clearly hates Trump. As for Kelly Anne, I am sure she has made some bargain in her head that her job is to defend Trump. When the TV lights go off, she knows what an ass Trump is. People ask how the marriage can go on. Pretty simple, really. They both hate Trump, but in public only one does.
