Instead of calling it like it is (where the GOP is using thinly veiled racial coding on Obama, "welfare, birtherism" --it would be like calling a Jewsih person "money grubbing and cheap"
Brokaw finds a way to make things equal in terms of rancor. Brokaw failed miserably and it was a glaring error on how he tried to make the GOP look "less worse" on this. Fact of the matter, the people that cheered Romney got the message that he was tweaking Obama's birth certificate. I would have more respect for the GOP if they would have simply admitted what they did.
Chris Matthew did exactly what the media should be doing to BOTH sides, asking the hard questions of the candidate and his surrogates. Scab wanted to pussyfoot at the convention and to his credit, Matthews wasn't having any parts of it.
