Subject: "Don the Con"
I need your help. Donald Trump said once u brand someone with a negative nick name u can dominate them. Ie Crocked Hilary, low energy Jeb, little Rubio etc We must contact the candidates and brand Trump Don The Con
Please use all your creative powers to make this happen.
One good idea can change history.
Please be part of changing history.
I heard this from a friend and it reverberated in my brain.
Lets start a movement to brand Trump.
He is the biggest con man in history.
[I kinda agree with my friend....]

(28,339 posts)It's cultural appropriation for ignoble purposes. She was a person not a joke. Enough with using the images and names of indigenous Americans for jokes and amusement.

(108,977 posts)between Democrats and Native American leaders. Native Americans don't want their cultural or historical figures used as attack weapons by either political party.
From the National Congress of American Indians:

NCAI is a bi-partisan organization that works equitably with both sides of the political aisle, and it is not our common practice to comment on the partisan name calling that has come to dominate American politics, said NCAI Executive Director Jacqueline Pata in the official release. But we cannot and will not stand silent when our Native ancestors, cultures, and histories are used in a derogatory manner for political gain.
Pocahontas is a well-known historical Native figure that has been turned into a derogatory term. The NCAI release states that, in fact, the cultural misappropriation of Native American cultures and traditions unfortunately was a common occurrence during the 2016 election season, with multiple attacks by candidates and their surrogates during debates, rallies, and live broadcast appearances.

(268,960 posts)Bloomberg called him Don the Con and Schumer calls him a Con man - they should all use it.
They should also mention all the people he has not paid.

(32,634 posts)Before that I called him Cheeto, which started to sound too "friendly" to me. Cheeto is something I might nickname a friend when I wanted to tease him, but not actually insult him.
Chump is clearly an insult and a nickname.

(23,944 posts)main problem with "Don the Con" branding is "Con" is short for conservative. it actually bolsters his credentials as a genuine conservative, when he's really nothing of the sort.
maybe "Criminal Don" or "Don the Crook" would work better, but i'm sure the Democratic leadership is establishing how they'll approach this kind of attack, if at all.
