Anthony Weiner released from halfway house in Bronx as he completes sentence for sexting 15-year-old
Anthony Weiner is a free man.
The sentence of the disgraced former New York lawmaker ended Tuesday morning when he walked out of a halfway house in the Bronx.
“I am glad to be getting back to my family," he told reporters.
The 54-year-old Weiner was released from federal prison in Massachusetts in February after serving 15 months for sexting with a 15-year-old girl. He had spent several months in the reentry center in the Bronx.
