Mueller report

I want to believe Mueller did the best he could. That he is honorable and truthful. But, I keep having these nagging thoughts about what we know so far. Either, I just don't understand the legalities or Barr ordered him to stop the investigation or something just isn't right. I believe I read that it wouldn't be fair because trump could not defend himself. ( it all runs together after a while). But trump can defend himself just as well if not better than any of us. Why couldn't Mueller have just recommended that trump be charged. Had he done at least that, we would not be in this dilemma. Why did he not say further investigation required or recommend charges against Kushner and jr. and Ivanka. I would welcome different views so I can try to better understand.

1. Barr can't interfere with the SC without it being reported to Congress

Mueller stopped now because he had so much evidence for impeachment and he wanted to give Democrats time to do it. The Democrats for some reason don't want to.

2. Mueller let America down! It's that simple. Maybe he'll repent when/if he testifies to Congress.

If he wanted to, he could have gone straight to the press weeks ago.

One of the recurring themes was, INABILITY TO GET REQUESTED INFORMATION from almost every person. The trumps, right on down. They stonewalled him at every turn. However, why accept that? Why just shrug your shoulders and say..."Oh well. They din't give it to me."? He had a RAFT of other high caliber prosecutors to help him. Remember that. None of them could either? Top shelf prosecutors IN EACH PARTICULAR FIELD??
Which begs the question, if he's not a legit pres, bc the russians elected him, then why does he get the benefit of the guideline stated above? Rosenstien appointed Mueller...keep that little gem in mind. And see how Rosenstien is playing his cards these days. Lack of information requested, was a big part of the failure to indict. And before they could ratchet up the investigation to answer some of these questions, Barr came along and cut/shut the whole thing down.
The OTHER reason being, the stupid "FBI rule/guideline that says you can't indict a sitting president. It's not even a law.
He's not a legit president in my eyes, and the totality of the text screams russian interference. If the russians interfered, trumps illiget. And so are-most likey-many Senators, and Congresspeople, and Governors etc.
That's why he suggested Congress go further. That implied impeachment. Eliz Warren and others think it's time for impeachment. Me too. We get added investigative powers and benefits of the doubt. We need all these things. Time is of the essence.
We need to start impeachment before trump starts slinging arrows all over Gods creation.
To wait is to make untying everything exponentially harder and less likely. You can't unring the bell on some things.
But that's all, IMHO, based on what i generally know myself.

If something isn't done before summer recess, might as well just sign the deed for the country over to Trump lock stock and barrel.

Because can you imagine the screaming hissy fits if Congress were to take up the matter in the FALL of this year??

The slow walking that Dems in Congress are doing is a true disservice to the Rule of Law. Pelosi's political fears are a nicety we can't afford, IMO.

(Channeling Wm Lloyd Garrison in the back of my mind....)

and I agree wholeheartedly. To wait is to give them a defense. "It's a political attack in an election year". etc etc.
