Will we start to see "Tax Tariff tax" on my receipt like the did after Obamacare was implemented?

I remember when AHS was implemented. I started to see "Obamacare" cost added to some of my medical bills. I have to ask, will there be any commercial stores willing to add a Trump Tariff cost to my receipts? I know that tariffs are not on all goods and it would be difficult to calculate which goods price increase are affected by these tariffs.

My point is some businesses think it is was acceptable to make a political statement on consumer receipts. Will the same hold through with any Republican legislation? I assume it will not.

1. This is a great question to ask all retailers

Just inquire innocently whether the price reflects the Trump tariff since you are certain it has gone up since last you purchased a similar item. This is how we as Democrats can interact with the public and put an earworm in their heads. Every check-out counter in America should become a political soapbox.

I tried this at the craft store the other day. The clerk gave ME an earful. Clearly, she felt that Trump was sabotaging business. We get their attention. One voter at a time.

2. I recall

After AHS was implemented and saw "Obamacare Tax" on at least 2 of my bills. I remember to some of my colleagues at the time about it. I also recall one of my RW coworkers they said "Good, it shows the public the cost of the president policies on businesses." or something like thing. I bet my same RW colleague would be totally up in arms if they saw a "Tax Tariff tax" on their receipts.
