8. Today on Deadline WH, there was a really

interesting comment made during Wallace's interview with the Dem rep Katherine Clark. Can't recall which one said it, but one of them noted that after Cippilone's 12 page letter was sent and received by the House, DoJ expected impeachment hearings to start right away and then they'd have to consider how to respond to all the subpoenas and requests for information.

It was stunning to realize that the WH sent a deliberately insulting letter as a strategy to provoke Dems to start impeachment hearings that Trump et al believes will be to his benefit.
