(82,849 posts)By most accounts, Needy Amin is a decent golfer. His incessant need to cheat and puff himself up is just disgusting.

(43,049 posts)And how many mulligans did he take to get even 89?
Or caddies dropping balls outside the water or rough he shot his into?
Was it Mark Twain who said never, ever trust a man who cheats at golf?

(38,302 posts)My brother is in his college sports hall of fame and was semi-pro for a time. He was also caddie to people you would know.
I am proudly the klutzy clown, sometimes smart ass sidekick, whenever I golf with them.
I've been humiliated in golf, badly, by eleven year old girls.
Why would I cheat? It would ruin the fun. That's why we're playing golf, isn't it? To have fun?
I'm as much a danger to myself and others at Pebble Beach as I am at Buccaneer Bay.

(50,528 posts)Trump loves to golf, and (at least according to expert golfers who have played with him) he is good at it, although he's not polished at it because he hasn't had a coach. He can keep the ball in the fairway and out of the rough, which is very important.
If we could build a time machine and take Trump back to...oh, say 1960...I would advise he and Fred, "get Donald a good trainer, hire a money manager to handle his investments, and let him play pro golf. He has the potential to be one of our finer pro golfers. You will all be proud."

(146,254 posts)However, Kim Jung Un finished a round much better than that, since he hit seven holes-in-one.
Match that, Donwald!

(11,489 posts)I know the story you are talking about. I later learned that they were not keeping score like we do. The scorecard was reflecting bogies and pars, so a 1 was a bogey, 2 double bogey, etc.

I liked the story better the way I heard it first.
Kim may be a murdering dictator and best friend's with Dotard, but at least he doesn't cheat at golf.

(36,375 posts)He shots a hole for every year he's lived on his birthday. He works it out with the pro ahead of time. He tees off while it's still dark, and finished in the dark because his is birthday is in November. Oh, and he doesn't use one of those ridding golf carts either; he walks (but in his sixties, he started using a bag cart instead of hauling his clubs on his back).

I give him 10 rounds, and I bet he will never break +10

(53,741 posts)to his golf resorts since the beginning of the year. Does he really expect us to believe here in the middle of May that he hasn't played golf on those many trips during Jan. or Feb. or March or April?
And posting a score of 68 is so laughable. Hell, Tiger Woods just shot a 73 yesterday and he's a professional golfer who plays or practices everyday.
Amatuer duffers like trump who haven't played in months, allegedly, would be lucky to break 90.

(4,826 posts)Kim Jong Il, Kim Jong Un, probably the grandfather too. They claim to do great things to seem almost God-like. I believe one claim was Kim Jong Il shot a number of hole-in-ones his first time golfing.
