Correction to my earlier tweet about Gym Jordan & the House Committee on Education and Labor:

Correction: An earlier version of this article
mischaracterized the plans of the House Committee
on Education and Labor in regards to Rep. Jordan.
The previous tweet, seen here, has been deleted.

—--**Apologies** - the Committee is NOT looking into Jordan’s involvement at this time —-

going on in their program. In my day we lived in what was called an athletic dorm. Good training table food, good accommodations, grad assistants checking out what time you were in your room, athletes gossiping among themselves. There is no way that at OSU in that time period that Gym Jordan didn't have at least an idea about what was going on. Maybe the wrestlers did not have the same oversight as football/basketball, but the wrestling coaches certainly talked to the athletes on basis. I'm not buying his story whatsoever. He did not want to know because it may have impacted his career....and that is the best spin that can be put on it.
This story is far from over.
Okay, let me edit this post a bit. There are far fewer coaches at OSU involved in wrestling than there are in football. There are also far fewer athletes involved in wrestling. Word gets around. I have nothing against OSU other than Gym J. Otherwise it could have been anyplace.
