I've had this question on my mind all day.

I read about the mass shooting near Ball University this morning. As mass shootings go it was not news worthy, nobody died a few people injured, Saturday in America.

I wake of the new abortion laws a question arises.

If a pregnant woman, happy about her pregnancy, looking forward to a family is shot, by a guntard going berserk, through the abdomen. She live but the fetus does not.

Is she still responsible for the death of the fetus, or is this just another kid killed because of gun violence?

sarcasm, kinda

I object to your use of the suffix "-tard" in this context. WhiskeyGrinder May 2019 #1

That's happened in other instances not involving the abortion issue, but there would seem to be no difference regardless.
