Panhandle county that backed Trump among Russian hacking victims

How long before more stories come out about other states and other counties hacked?

Panhandle county that backed Trump among Russian hacking victims

TALLAHASSEE — Russian hackers breached a county elections department in the Florida Panhandle where voters turned out heavily for President Donald Trump in 2016, according to a report confirmed by POLITICO.

Washington County was one of two counties successfully hacked by Russians seeking voter information files. The FBI and the Department of Homeland Security in the past week have briefed Gov. Ron DeSantis and Florida’s congressional delegation about the attack, but federal authorities have asked that the names of the two counties be kept confidential. <snip>

Do the math and decide:
According to ThinkProgress.org Washington county, FL has a population of about 25,000. Politico reported of the more than 11,000 votes cast in the county, 77 percent favored Trump.

According to Florida’s official web site, there are 16,137 registered voters in that county. That means 68% of registered voters voted in that county in 2016. The national average of the 2016 vote was 61.4% of registered voters voted.

Also, according to the Florida official site, 8,505 are registered GOP (about 52%), 5,143 are registered Democrats (about 32%), 100 are minor parties and 2,389 are non-affiliated (about 14%).

So the GOP got 25% more votes than their percentage of Republican registered voters in a rural county that outperformed the national average by 6.6%.

Draw your own conclusions.

This should have been ruled a fraudulent election by the end of November, 2016 and President
Obama should have remained in office until the whole thing could have been settled lawfully.

other variables. I quit looking at that info months ago. No one wanted to hear that they hacked the vote totals. It will trickle out eventually.

We need to look at PA, MI and WI. Maybe do a county by county analysis. And look at heavily red countries. It would be much easier to flip votes in counties you would expect Trump to win.

Not that he wouldn’t win there, but by how much. It was historic they said.
