The combination of a full-on Republican assault and media encouragement would have easily done the trick.

they'd have been forced to resign based on the emoluments clause on day one.

This guy is apparently allowed to do whatever comes into his mostly vacant mind with zero consequences.

The wailing and rebellion would have been symphonic and amplified to unbearable levels by a complicit MSM. This separate set of rules thing got old a long time ago.

heck, I expect wailing and rebellion when a Democrat wins the popular vote and EC in 2020.

And the poor little distraught MAGATs will get endless press coverage, because that, is apparently how it works now.

BTW the House should go ahead and impeach Trump and then let the GOP
senators stand up and publicly support that traitor.

What would it take for you to say, "Hey, this doesn't look right; maybe we should delve a little deeper here." Also, if impeachment isn't your preferred route for holding the administration accountable, what is? What have you and your Senate cohort done on this front in the last two years? Or does all this seem on the up-and-up, perfectly acceptable to you, and in no way a danger to the country?
