Hope hicks is young, not wealthy, has no political power, is not a lawyer or a member of the administration. There is no way she would defy the subponea and incurr six figure legal fees to fight it in court. She is not going to screw up the rest of her life for Trump.

Mc Gahn is a different case. He is a powerful wealthly connected lawyer. He can probably get away with it.
