i had to kill a blacksnake bc it was eating the eggs from a robin's nest that ive been guarding for week . she built the nest in such a vulnerable spot figured something would happen and it did. lose, lose, lose for all involved. so i tried cheering myself by being clever and now i feel worse. but tomorrow is a new day.
