Twitter Bans #Resistance-Famous Krassenstein Brothers for Allegedly Operating Fake Accounts

Ed and Brian Krassenstein are banned for life after ‘operating multiple fake accounts and purchasing account interactions,’ a Twitter spokesman said.

Twitter has permanently banned prominent anti-Trump brothers Brian and Ed Krassenstein, alleging that two of the biggest stars of #Resistance Twitter had broken the site’s rules about operating fake accounts and purchasing fake interactions with their accounts.

“The Twitter Rules apply to everyone,” a Twitter spokesperson said in a statement. “Operating multiple fake accounts and purchasing account interactions are strictly prohibited. Engaging in these behaviors will result in permanent suspension from the service.”

The suspensions are a major loss for the Krassensteins, who had used their massive Twitter followers and ability to quickly respond to tweets from Donald Trump to make themselves internet celebrities. Ed Krassenstein had roughly 925,000 followers before he was banned, while Brian Krassenstein had more than 697,000.

The Krassensteins didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

of the most annoying human beings online. I blocked them ages ago, and they still showed up in my feed. Thank Goodness for small favors.

I don't even get how this was a possible grift, but they're right up there with avenatti for me. Don't trust them at all.

There is also some resistance doctor whom I find extremely annoying.  i'm on the fence about Seth Abrahmson.

I have no opinion regarding Abrahmson, as I have never really read his tweets (mostly due to the fact that a lot of the #TeamPillowForts types here post his material quite often-- or have in the past).

The Krassenstein Bros (plus some other dude) now run a news site called the Hill Reporter (which has, sadly, made its way as a source in LBN).

5. I'm not familiar with Dena Greyson...

I think it's Edmund Gu, MD or a similar name. (There was a scandal and he self banned last year, but then came back and responds to all of Trumps Tweets. Just as the Krassenstein's do.)

But they're all the same. seeking notoriety and some sort of monetization of their tweets. It kills me how many of my friends retweet their stuff. And I'm thrilled I won't see it anymore.
