Why is Mueller afraid of testifying in public?

Maybe he doesn't want to be a political spectacle where politicians (especially repubs) will grandstand, impugn him, his investigation and the people who worked for him. Maybe he'd rather let a transcript do the talking for him.

This is a huge deal and the decision shouldn't be made lightly.

on MSNBC. He knows Mueller and said he never and a problem testifying in the past. He thinks the problem now is that he will say Barr told him not to write that tRump should be indicted. He is a by the books guy and doesn't want politics to be involved in this.
