Some of the farmers are getting it.

Listening to Washington Journal on Cspan this morning about the bailout. They don't want welfare they want a free market. Say Trump is doing nothing for them. Still losing money. They know that his meddling in the markets is ruining them. They want people to understand that they, not China will be paying for it. Prices will rise.

"This guy is an idiot." The 16 billion in disaster aid is not going to do it for them. The last bailout gave them something like one cent on a bushel. One guy got over 100K in bailout money last time but still lost money overall.

That's what you get for not paying attention or
deliberately and willfully voting for a failed
businessman and con man, sexual predator,
racist white supremacist ... all of which was
not hard to realize before the election.

how this actually translates in the privacy of the voting booth and if they stop voting for Republicans, to say nothing of Trump. I'd like to be proven wrong.

Back in 2004, I used to work with a guy that usually voted Republican, but was telling everybody he could talk to in the summer of 2004 that Bush was awful and to vote Kerry. And, he was on the phone a lot for his job. (Actually, kind of unprofessional of him to be that political in a work environment, but I digress...)

However, after the election was over and Bush won by stealing Ohio, he confessed to voting Bush and a few others did as well... because Fox News and other media had so successfully demonized Kerry that they were afraid to vote for him.

to swing the vote in some Midwestern states.

Especially if more publicity gets out about some of the farm bailout money going to Brazil and to China.

I can’t get it to work on my phone but next time I’m on my computer I’ll be interested to see which areas get the most subsidies.

Thanks!

that aint gonna help the do nothing party.

i think a lot of them are smart enough to see that the payments are going to his voters, and farmers in blue states are getting screwed. and it hurts a lot of them a lot more because they are tree farmers. its a different animal, and any good farmer knows that.

hillary dont live here no more. that is gonna start dawning on them.

They have to be aware of the markets. They are all computer wise. They are extremely sensitive to the weather. And most if ttem are good, caring people. Don't under estimate them.

They have to be very practical. And they all talk to each other.

You are right, it is a business. They get college degrees to learn how to run them, even if the farm has been in the family for generations.

Who cares... most farms in the midwest are on the scale that farmers arent determining the results of a national election anyway. More dirt and less people doesn't win elections.
