My Dad joined the Marines during WWII

He was a good and decent man who gave so much to his community. We lived rural in the 1960's until the city caught up with us. SoCal boomed big-time back then.
Anyway, he died a Limbaugh fan but I can't help think he would be horrified by tRump.

In fact, I know he would be.
He was a rightwinger but not the current version.

This is what I'd like to think.
I miss him.

My father was a German who went to fight the Nazi's in Germany...but he was racist himself though.

I'm not sure what he would think about what is going on. I fear he may of liked rump (?). He died so long ago (when I was 14) I can only speculate. But he was an Archie Bunker type of guy for sure.

I'm sorry to say that I think both our fathers would of voted for rump.

My grandfather served in the Navy on a escort carrier and participated in the Battle off Samar, his brother served as a Marine and island hopped through the entire Pacific Theatre during WWII. They were all democrats and union men before and afterwards.

I doubt if your popps or my grands could conceive of of a pro Nazi president.

As a kid I lived rural (Hacienda Heights pre I-60), and since the beginning of the 20th century my family roots are East L.A.

My dad served in the Air Force, and every time l loadout and say good by I fear I won’t get to see my own popps again.

Dad was in Alaska helping build the Alcan highway.

Uncle George was in Wichita. He was good at typing and shorthand so he did office work.

Both gone a long time now but certainly not forgotten.
