Henry County officials recently decided to remove the name of former Commissioner Gary Freedman from plaques on several buildings in the county. The plaques list all the commissioners that were on the board at the time a building was dedicated. Freedman pleaded guilty to child molestation charges in 2017. He served on the county’s Board of Commissioners for eight years and lost a bid for chairman in 2004 ...
